Wama kana qawlahum illa an qaloo rabbana ighfir lana thunoobana wa-israfana fee amrina wathabbit aqdamana waonsurna AAala alqawmi alkafireena. They did say nothing save this prayer, 'O Our Lord! forgive our sins and our excesses that we committed in our affairs, and make firm our steps and help us against these disbelieving people.
