If you dream that you are studying the thermometer; this foretells that you will be involved in some business that will not please you, and there will be trouble at the home front. To see a broken thermometer in your dream forewarns that you or one close to you will certainly fall sick. To dream that you are looking at a thermometer and the mercury is falling as you look; this warns that your affairs will take a turn for the worse. But to see a thermometer with the mercury rising denotes that you will succeed in getting out of bad business situation.
