(To solemnly command; to take an oath; or to swear by God) If you dream that you see yourself swearing in the name of God before another person, this warns that, that person will deceive you. To dream that you swear solemnly by the stars, the heavenly symbols or by any physical signs, this signifies pride, disgrace, dishonesty, negligence and outright hypocrisy. If you dream that you are faithful to the oath you take, this foretells that you will win in contentions, speak the truth always and do only things that are pleasing to God Almighty. To dream that you swear in the name of God, this means that you need to make atonement when truth is proved, and emulate the leading example of the prophet of God, upon whom be peace.
