(Bird; Fowl) In the dream, a chicken stands for the woman of the house, while a rooster denotes the man of the house. In the dream, chicken represents a woman who caters for the orphans and raises charities for their aid; it could also denote a blond woman or a domestic servant. To dream of owning a chicken means that one’s difficulties will be dispelled or it could mean a display of happiness. To dream that one is hunting chickens predicts that one will earn lawful and easy profits. To dream that one slaughters chicken foretells that one will deflower a virgin servant. If one dreams that he hears a chicken or female peacock hooting in his garden or inside his house; this forewarns that one will confront a calamity with belligerent character. If one dreams that his house is filled with a large number of chickens; this denotes enormous wealth, or that one will preside over people; it could also mean that one will dispelled one’s fears and establish his status and rank.
