In the dream, a crocodile stands for a dishonest merchant and a thief. If a person dreams that he see a crocodile dragging him into water and kill him; this forewarns that such person will be arrested by a policeman, who will kill to steal his property. If a person dreams that he escapes from a crocodile; this denotes that he will escape from such danger in the waking life. It is generally believed that in the dream, a crocodile denotes sins, insolence, a bandit, illegal income, depression and fear. It could also denote the end of a person’s life if he is drowned in the dream. To dream that one sees a crocodile in water is bad, while seeing it on dry land indicates that it is weak and humiliated. If one dreams that a crocodile pulls him into water; this denotes that a person in authority will compel him to do something he detests. If a person dreams that he sees himself eating the flesh or meat of a crocodile or the he drags a crocodile out of water; this foretells that such one will be victorious over his opponents and adversaries.
